Celebrate Christmas

It’s already that time of year! Decorations are going onto houses, stockings and presents are being purchased, and you might even hear some carols on the radio.  But there is more to Christmas than just cocktail parties and cellophane.

At Trinity on the Hill, we join with Christians all over the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.  We confess that in him, the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.  In one of our prayers for communion, we proclaim this about Jesus: “To deliver us from the power of sin and death, and to reveal the riches of your grace, you looked with favor upon Mary, your willing servant, that she might conceive and bear a son, Jesus the holy child of God. Living among us, Jesus loved us. He broke bread with outcasts and sinners, healed the sick, and proclaimed good news to the poor. He yearned to draw all the world to himself.”

During the month of December, join us for any of our Advent festivities as we prepare for our Christmas celebrations.
