I am the Rev’d. Louise Weiss. I minister at Trinity on the Hill as an Assisting Priest. I graduated from the diocesan School for Ministry in March 2008 was ordained Transitional Deacon in June 2008 and as Priest on December 13, 2008. As a bi-vocational priest, I work part-time at the church. The rest of my time is filled with caring for my house, my husband, Doug, and my family, especially my three grandsons. In addition to all of that, I serve as the Executive Assistant to the North American Director of the Order of St. Luke, an international and ecumenical religious order dedicated to the restoration of the healing ministry in Christian churches. I love to celebrate the Eucharist, and I love to minister to people. My passion is for the healing ministry, which I believe has been pushed aside. Jesus meant for healing to be a natural part of the Christian experience, and my work in the Order of St. Luke seeks to reinstate this vital part of Christ’s ministry. I usually lead the Thanksgiving and Healing Service on the third Friday of each month at 7:30 pm. I am involved in praying for physical healing, with laying on of hands. I also practice Inner Healing, a ministry of prayer through which hurts and problems from the past can be reconciled and healed. If anyone wishes a private appointment with me for healing prayer or pastoral counseling, call the church office at 662-5107.
