As an outpouring of our love for this community, and in response to the needs of Los Alamos County families, Trinity on the Hill is offering sexual violence prevention programs throughout the month of April.
Our series for adults who impact the lives of children includes programs facilitated by educators from Solace and Resolve of Santa Fe, The Responsible Sex Education Institute of the Rocky Mountains, and Tewa Women United. The adult programs will include information for parents, caregivers, and mentors of children ages 0-18. During each adult presentation, there will be free childcare for children ages 0-4 and a free age-appropriate class for children ages 5-12 with topics that mirror those covered in the adults’ class. A free pizza dinner will also follow the programs.
The teen series will feature the same facilitators from our four partnering organizations, and will include information appropriate for ages 13-19. These interactive programs, held at UNM-LA, will encourage teens to consider their day-to-day decisions and how they can counter a culture of sexual violence.
We are so pleased to have you join us as we stand against sexual violence. Questions? Please email Jamie Allbach at firstname.lastname@example.org.
