Stewardship is Blessing

In the Episcopal Church, a blessing can be defined as ‘a sacred pronouncement of God’s love and favor, addressed to one or more persons.’ A blessing is about proclaiming God’s unmerited grace and goodness.  It’s about proclaiming that God can take even the most mundane or broken things and use them to heal the world.  Stewardship, the giving of our time and financial resources, is a blessing because we are actively proclaiming the love of God when we use our gifts to better the world around us.  How is God calling you to be a blessing this stewardship season?
