Apply for Rector Position

Science and Faith in Tandem

Dynamic Episcopal parish in historic Los Alamos, New Mexico in the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande
invites candidates for the position of full-time rector.

Trinity on the Hill was formed in 1949 to serve the community around the Manhattan Project on the Pajarito Plateau in the north central mountains of New Mexico, which eventually became the county and town of Los Alamos. Beautiful mountain town with an excellent school system, amid world-class science, art, music, and year-round mountain activities. The congregation has grown from 14 members in 1944 to 250 in 2021.

We are looking for a priest gifted in preaching and committed to engaging with the community. We have been involved in multiple outreach programs in Los Alamos County, the surrounding counties in New Mexico, and in Mexico. TOTH has traditionally had strong youth programs and a vital choir. We are looking for a rector who can lead us in restoring these traditions post-covid.

To apply, please upload CV, OTM profile, links to online sermons if available, and a cover letter.
