Childcare in the Nursery 8am – noon Sundays
Nursery service is available during our Sunday services for children ages 4 and under. Under the guidance of Wendy Strain, our Nursery Coordinator, the nursery is staffed by trained nursery workers. Wendy has always been very careful about cleanliness in the nursery, cleaning toys and surfaces, and now the nursery workers are masked as well.
Sunday School
Parishioner Zandrea Glenn holds a class for children K-2 and parishioner Keith Stephens leads grades 3 and above on Sunday mornings at 9:15 – 10:15 am for Children’s Sunday School programming. From crafts, videos, games, and a whole host of other learning styles, children will be exposed to the great stories of Scripture and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Zandria’s class meets in the Education wing, and Keith’s class meets in Kelly Hall.
Children’s Sermon and Children’s Chapel
During the 10:30 am service, children are invited to come near the Altar after the Gospel is read for a special sermon geared towards children most Sundays. After the sermon, children are invited to head to the Chapel for age-appropriate opportunities for worship and learning. They are then brought back into the main sanctuary prior to Communion.
Parents are welcome to attend Children’s Chapel with their children.
Young Family Night
Typically meets once a month on a Wednesday from 5:30‐7pm. The next potluck will be on September 11 at 5:30pm in Kelly Hall.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, August 20 at 9:15am. This will be a Parent Meeting at TOTH between the services to discuss the new Sunday School programming (separated into two youth classes!) that will kickoff in September.
