Young family nights are typically held once a month on a Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, these gatherings create a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Sometimes, the meal is prepared by each family bringing a dish of their choice, and other times, the meal is made by one of the local pizzerias.
In addition to the food, this gathering serves as a valuable opportunity for young families to exchange stories, build friendships, and strengthen the bonds that unite us. Don’t miss out on this chance to come together and enjoy an evening of good company and great food!
Upcoming Young Family Night dates:
August 9th: Acolyte Party – This event is for current acolytes as well as eligible TOTH youth who are interested in being trained to serve as an acolyte.
- August 9, 1-4pm
- Pizza and drinks will be provided. Each family please bring a side or dessert to share.
- Location: 102 Monte Rey Dr. N, White Rock
- The pool will be open! Bring swimsuits and towels!
- Acolyte eligibility requirements: In 1st grade, ability to hold up a processional torch, and able to sit through an entire church service.

August 16: Back to School Sunday
- Bring backpacks to the 10:30 service to be blessed for a fruitful school year ahead!
- Sunday School for all ages resumes!
- Children’s Chapel during the 10:30 service resumes!
Young Family Potlucks – all held at 5:30pm in Kelly Hall. Latecomers always welcome!

Teen Specific Events
- July 30 – Dinner and Game Night THIS WEEK! Apologies for the late notice but join us in Kelly Hall at 5:30pm for pizza and games! If you’ve not already been contacted about this and your teen wishes to attend, reply to this email, please!
- August 1 – Join other TOTH teens at SALA for the 7pm viewing of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Participants should come with money for a ticket and whatever they may wish to purchase from the snack bar.
